Perfect for kids who enjoy music of different genres such as Broadway, Rock, Country, Latin, and Big Band. During these fun and fast-paced two weeks, students will learn several song and dance routines including music / choreography styles such as Musical Theatre, Show Choir, Salsa, Lyrical, Jazz and Swing Dance. This camp will culminate in a Professional Showcase for families and friends.

July 30th - August 3rd 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Florence Playhouse
Ages: 13+ Cost: $130 (includes tee/book)
This special advanced acting camp is for members of "The Colony" - a small troupe of young artists who are dedicated to learning more difficult theatre techniques. In order to attend this camp, you must complete a formal audition.

Think that putting on an actual play in only two weeks is impossible? Then you don't know C.R.O.W.! During this intensive two week camp, students will rehearse and mount an original play to be performed for live audiences. Every child enrolled in the camp will receive a role in the show, and will also help with creating the set, costumes, make-up design, and much more. Sure to be a whirlwind of fun!
2 week camps = $215 (includes a camp tee shirt). Only $5 per hour! $50 non-refundable deposit required to enroll. Balance due on first day of camp. Students must bring sack lunch. All other materials provided. Classes held at The Florence Playhouse - 208 Laurel St.
$25 off - "Sibling" discount if you enroll two kids.
$50 off - if you enroll in two camps! (excludes AAC)
Sample: Cost For 2 Kids- Kid #1= $215 + $150. Kid #2=$190 + $150.
Total Cost For Two Kids: $705 to attend BOTH camps (not AAC).

About The C.R.O.W. Directors:
Melanie Heard (Director)
Melanie is originally from Southern CA and has a strong, professional arts background that varies from dancing with the Joffrey Ballet to directing and choreographing award winning theatrical productions. A credentialed teacher and co-owner of Poison Pen Players (comedy murder mystery troupe), Melanie founded C.R.O.W. when she noticed a need for children's performing arts opportunities in the community. Above all else... Melanie loves inspiring children through the arts!
Jason Wood (Assistant Director)
Jason is also from California. He was an actor/ director of The Imagination Machine- a traveling children's theatre troupe which performed stories written by children. Jason studied with the well-known Groundlings School of Improv. He has played many leading roles in many different professional shows, and is a company member of Poison Pen Players. Jason currently teaches voice privately to over 25 students!
